Rebecca A. Borden graduated from Skidmore College in 1995 with a Bachelor of Arts Magna Cum Laude in both Government and Philosophy with a minor in Law and Society. She received a Juris Doctor degree in 1998 from Northeastern University School of Law. Ms. Borden has experience representing lenders on a national level in all aspects of loss mitigation, including title examination and clearance, loan modifications (including HAMP loan modifications), deeds-in-lieu of foreclosure and partial claims transactions. Ms. Borden is also trained in divorce mediation and offers mediation services to couples looking for a more amicable and cost effective alternative to litigated divorce or separation. Her additional areas of practice include commercial and residential real estate law, land use, zoning, planning and development, business formations, corporate and commercial transactions, and estate planning/estate administration.
