After developing a real estate practice on Long Island, Mr. Mazur relocated to the Capital District, as an Attorney with the New York State Office of Mental Health’s Counsel’s Office, whose responsibility included tax exempt bond financing and contracting with mental health service providers. While with O.M.H., Mr. Mazur was named as an Oral Examiner by the Office of Civil Service and later appointed a Legislative Aide to Governor Cuomo in 1993. Subsequently, he served as a New York State Assistant Attorney General where he honed litigation and trial skills in an environmental practice. Mr. Mazur’s litigation practice compliments the transactional real estate nature of the firm by providing our clients with an in-house litigation alternative, when negotiations fail. His practice encompasses a broad range of commercial, civil litigation and appeals with an emphasis on real estate, title, mortgage, and construction contract matters. He has tried cases for both plaintiffs and defendants in administrative hearings, private arbitration and in State and Federal Courts. |
